Cab hardware is the family that never appears on a planned order and always appears on an urgent one. Nobody prices a door hinge when they price a hydraulic pump, and then the door will not latch at the start of the rainy season. The parts are inexpensive, the downtime is not, and on an export machine the failure usually surfaces after the container has been opened. Guangzhou Shenyue Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. supplies the family, so here is what it contains.

The door itself, and what surrounds it

A cab door is a welded frame, a glazed panel, a latch, hinges and a gas strut or a slider mechanism. Each of those ages differently. The latch wears until the door needs a slam; the hinge pins wear until the door drops and no longer seals; the strut loses gas and the door stops holding itself open, which is when an operator lets it fall and cracks the glass. Our records quote the cab door assembly as YN51C00009F1KL and the window lock as YN02C04214P1, a combination that turns up together because a door that will not stay shut usually has a tired lock rather than a tired frame.

The small parts that stop water and dust

Handle dust boots and seals are among the cheapest lines on a machine and among the most consequential. A perished dust boot lets water into a latch mechanism, which then freezes or corrodes, and lets dust into the cab where the operator breathes it. The handle dust boot is quoted in our records as YN03M01498P1. On a machine working demolition, quarry or landfill duty, replacing these on a schedule is cheaper than replacing latches and locks on failure.

Cover panels, and why they are a family of their own

Excavator cover panels protect the parts a machine cannot afford to lose. There is a cover for the fuse box, a cover for the monitor, covers along the right-hand side of the cab and the panel covers that close the interior trim. They are moulded or pressed, they are model-specific, and they are the first items lost to impact, to a careless wash, or to being left off after a repair.

The right-hand covers appear under several numbers because the same position was revised across machine generations. That is the single most common error in this family: buying a cover by shape from a photograph rather than by the machine serial number. Two covers that differ by one moulded fixing point look identical in a picture and will not fit.

Shenyue tip: send a photograph of the machine's nameplate and of the cover's reverse side. The serial number decides which revision fits, and Guangzhou Shenyue Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. confirms every line against it, holding 3,000+ part types on the shelf with 100,000+ part numbers available to order through original supply channels.

Panel timers and interior electrical furniture

Behind the panels sit parts that are electrical rather than structural, and they share the same access problem. Timers are a good example: quoted in our records as YN17M01286F1 / YN17M01306F1 and as YT58S00006P1, they control functions such as intermittent wiper and light operation, and they fail by becoming intermittent themselves. Because a timer lives behind trim, the labor to reach it usually exceeds its price, which is the argument for replacing the trim clips and fasteners at the same time rather than reusing stretched ones.

Ordering cab hardware for an export machine

Cab parts travel badly when they are simply dropped into a crate. A door needs its glazing protected and its frame braced; covers need to be stacked face to face with protection between them, or they arrive scuffed. Guangzhou Shenyue Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. has shipped excavator parts from Guangzhou since 2007, and cab hardware is quoted as genuine, OEM-quality or aftermarket with the grade declared on every line. Five brands carry formal authorization — Garrett, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, TONGMYUNG, NIKURA and Marusan — and the Mitsubishi authorization covers MHI engine parts only. Kobelco is not among them: Shenyue is an independent supplier and is not an authorized dealer of Kobelco Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.

Send the machine model and serial number, the parts list or photographs of each item in place, the quantity and the destination port. Browse the full body and decal parts range, read the wider cabin context in the cab door, glass and interior trim guide, and check the export catalogue at corbayparts.com.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Kobelco door no longer latch properly?

Almost always the latch and the lock rather than the frame. Check the striker alignment first, because a dropped hinge pin moves the striker and makes a healthy latch look worn. If the striker is aligned and the door still needs a slam, the latch mechanism and the window lock are the parts to change, and our records quote the window lock as YN02C04214P1 alongside the cab door assembly YN51C00009F1KL.

How do I order the right cover panel revision?

By serial number, not by shape. The right-hand covers exist under several numbers because the position was revised across machine generations, and two covers can look identical in a photograph while differing at one fixing point. Send the machine serial number and a photograph of the reverse of the old cover, and the revision is confirmed before anything is quoted.

Are cab parts worth stocking for a small fleet?

Yes, as a kit rather than as individual lines. Door latches, window locks, dust boots, trim clips and fasteners are cheap, they fail predictably, and they are the parts that turn a one-day repair into a three-day wait on an imported shipment. A single box of these on the shelf covers a whole fleet.
