Why the four-piece kit gets two sessions
Because it causes the most expensive misunderstandings we see. A "four-piece" cylinder kit — piston, liner, piston rings and pin — only works as a system. A standard piston in a worn liner, or rings gapped for the wrong bore grade, turns a cheap overhaul into a repeat teardown within months. The November 24 sessions walk through how we match kits against engine serials and bore measurements, the same process we use when quoting rebuild parts for Kobelco J05, J08 and Mitsubishi engine families every day.
